Who made this

Built by a web designer, for web designers.

I'm Josh Hook. I run Hook'd IT Up, a small web shop that builds and looks after sites for local businesses — the kind of work where you know your clients by name and they text you on a Sunday.

Every build ended the same way. A client would send three lines about something being wrong, I'd send two back asking which something, and a week later we'd disagree about what had been asked for in the first place. That round trip was eating the evenings I was supposed to be spending with my family, and it was eating them for the least interesting reason imaginable.

So I built the thing I wanted: send one link, they point at the actual pixel, and every round is kept and dated so nobody has to remember. It gave me my evenings back. That's the whole pitch.

“I'm not trying to build a software company on top of it. The prices cover what it costs to run and leave enough to keep making it better. If it buys you back the same evenings it bought me, this is why I built it for you, too.”

— Josh Hook

The fine print, up front

What we count, and why

Three numbers, and only three. Storage isn't one of them — keep every round of every project for as long as you have the plan.

  1. Active projects

Sites you're working on right now. Archive one and it stops counting while keeping all of its history, so a finished build never costs you a slot.

  2. Pages per crawl

How deep we go into a site in one pass. This is the only thing here that costs us real money to run.

  3. Rounds a month

A round is one capture of one site. The count resets on the 1st. Going over doesn't cost you anything extra — it just waits, and we'll tell you plainly rather than billing you a surprise.

Plans

Every plan includes unlimited reviewers and teammates. Prices in US dollars; pay yearly and get two months free.

Two questions. The card that fits lights up.

How many client sites are you running?
Rounds a month?

A round is one capture of one site — desktop, tablet and mobile together.

Billing period

Solo

A couple of sites on the go at a time.

$19per month

Billed monthly, or $190 a year

Start 14-day trial of Solo
  • 3 active projects
  • 25 pages per crawl
  • 20 rounds a month

Your logo and colors, with a small credit line at the foot of review pages.

Agency

Unlimited client sites

Every client site you run, with no cap on how many — take on the next one without checking a number.

$99per month

Billed monthly, or $990 a year

Start 14-day trial of Agency
  • Unlimited active projects
  • 250 pages per crawl
  • 100 rounds a month

White-label: your logo, your colors, your own domain, no credit line.

Integrations: Zapier, Make and webhooks, to send feedback to the tools you use.

On every plan. No seat math.

The people reviewing your work are your clients. Charging you by the head for them would be a strange way to price a tool for agencies, so we don't.

  • Unlimited reviewers — clients never need an account
  • Unlimited comments and annotations
  • Unlimited teammates on your side
  • Desktop, tablet and mobile captured in one pass
  • Every round kept and dated, side by side
  • Upload your own screenshots when a site can't be reached
  • Slack notifications for each project

Where these figures come from. Gathered October 2026 from public sources — search listings and third-party summaries as well as vendors' own pages — so some may have changed or be read differently by the vendor. Every name links to that tool's pricing page: a comparison written by one of the products in it isn't a neutral document, so check us rather than trust us.

What we can promise about ours is that it stays where it is: it covers what the thing costs to run and leaves enough to keep improving it, and there is no per-seat ladder waiting once you are in. If one of these tools fits you better than we do, go and use it — we'd rather you had the right tool than ours.

Questions

What agencies ask before they start

The short answers to what people check first.

Do my clients need an account?

No. They open the link you send and start commenting. The link is their access — you can add a password to it, and revoke it at any time.

Does anything get installed on my client's site?

Nothing. We take the screenshots from the outside, so it works on sites you don't control, live sites you're pitching, and staging sites behind a basic-auth password.

What happens if I hit a limit?

Nothing is charged. A new round waits until your count resets on the 1st, or you can move up a plan. Everything you've already captured stays available.

Can review links use my own domain?

On Studio and Agency, yes — links like review.youragency.com. You add one DNS record and we connect it. Solo and the trial use our address, with your logo and colors.

What happens when the trial ends?

You can't start new work until you pick a plan, and everything you captured is kept for 90 days. Workspace owners and admins get an email 30 days and 7 days before anything is deleted. After 90 days the workspace's projects, screenshots and comments are permanently deleted. Pick a plan before then and everything stays exactly where it was.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Billing is managed from your workspace settings, through Stripe. When a paid plan ends, new work stops and everything is kept for 90 days, with an email to owners and admins 30 days and 7 days before it's deleted. After that the workspace's projects, screenshots and comments are permanently deleted. Pick a plan again before then and nothing is lost.

Enough to put an actual client's site through an actual round and find out whether this changes anything. No card to start: pick a plan whenever you're ready, and billing begins when your 14 days are up.

Start your 14 days

Review pages keep your logo and colors during the trial, with our credit line at the foot — the same as Solo. Removing that line is most of what Studio is for.

There's no free tier on purpose: a permanently free account that sits there holding screenshots costs us to run and costs you nothing to ignore.

When a trial ends without a plan, new work stops and everything you captured is kept for 90 days. Owners and admins are emailed 30 days and 7 days before it's deleted; after that the workspace's projects, screenshots and comments are permanently deleted. Pick a plan before then and nothing is lost.
